 Stranded pleasure boat | Each morning as I have walked with Chonki down the beach I have seen these two pleasure boats with outboard motors anchored a short distance out, with ropes to the shore. Then last Wednesday(18th), one had broken from its anchor and was beached. Some guys were trying to move it but I did not wait to see the outcome.
| Next morning (Thu), it was in the water semi-submerged, and looked a sorry sight. I thought of the "dreams" the owner must have had - hours of cruising pleasure. But I have never seen signs of either boat being used - I wonder where the owners are? You can imagine the damage bill rising as the salt water has its way.
