First visitors for 2008.

We met Iskandar a few nights before New Year's Eve at Made's Warung in Seminyak. The original, and famous Made's Warung is on Jalan Pantai in Kuta.  This one in Seminyak is much larger and has a more extensive and interesting menu.

On New Year's day, we met Iskandar where he has property south of Mengwi, then we travelled with him, his brother Prana, and Made from his "Balinese family".  We took the road to Seririt via Pupuan, and a few Km south of Pupuan diverted a few Km to the west to see a 1 hectare property that is for sale.  It slopes steeply from the road on the ridge down to a creek and is currently a coffee plantation.  The photos above show Made, Iskandar, Rajia and Hendra - with Chonki.

The Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist Temple is on a hill about 4 Km from our house and has extensive gardens.  From left, Prana, Iskandar, Hendra and Rajia.
