Stormy for Chinese New Year

They say that Chinese New year often has rough weather here - and this year it is proving true.  Heavy waves, strong winds and thunderstorms have come our way.  This has given us electrical blackouts, and has lowered the sand on parts of the beach -- but otherwise we are all getting on fine. The picture stitched from 2 photos shows the waves in front of our villa, and the wind battering the coconut palms - and of course Chonki our dog.  The rubbish on the beach has been washed in by the rough seas.
